The month of June marks National Gun Violence Awareness. Right now, our country is facing a gun violence epidemic, and we need to enact significant reforms to stop this epidemic and put an end to mass shootings.

I’ve proudly supported common sense gun safety reform during my time in Congress to promote responsible gun ownership and keep guns out of the hands of dangerous individuals. I proudly support re-enacting the Assault Weapons Ban, and I voted to pass the bipartisan Safer Communities Act that was signed into law.

I know there’s more we can do to keep our communities safe, but with Republicans in control of the House, we are at a standstill on gun safety reform. My district could determine control of the House this November, so I need your support.

My opponent is beholden to the NRA lobby, and just last year, he voted against background checks to purchase firearms. He also voted to allow individuals to carry firearms without a permit in Pennsylvania – endangering the lives of everyday people and law enforcement.
