Hello,
In this week’s edition, I present challenging questions to ask yourself when attempting to understand your past, move forward into your future, and live properly in the world. Then, I talk with author, historian, and professor of political science, Dr. Paul Kengor, about Karl Marx and modern day’s communist dogma — and why it is wrong. From the archives, I reflect on meeting with Christiano Ronaldo last year.

Find The Road To Health
If you are not doing well — meaning, if you are not getting what you want as you act in the world — then there is something wrong with the connection between your presuppositions and actions, often habitual actions, and the way the world is responding to you.
The question is: What can you do if the world is not turning out for you? First, you can examine yourself for presuppositions and action patterns that are not serving you well. Find out what they are and what to do about them. Maybe you are not moving forward because of fear, and maybe that fear is grounded in a terrible experience you had in the past that you have never been able to understand.
One of the ways to glue yourself back together and expand your personality so that you can, in fact, live properly in the world is to go back to those terrible events and untie them, straighten them out, understand them, and drop them. In large part, that is what psychotherapy is about. What are you afraid of? What are you avoiding? What are you failing to develop — perhaps from fear, avoidance, or even disgust? How can you get over it? You must understand how to reclaim those parts of yourself.

On his Beyond Order tour, Dr. Jordan B. Peterson traveled across the world discussing ideas and thoughts which stemmed from his second book, “Beyond Order: 12 More Rules for Life.” No tour stop’s talk is the same, each having different focal points yet all filled with invaluable information. Begin with the first — “What Story Is Guiding You?” — in which Dr. Peterson explores the Jungian theory that suggests we all live out an archetypal story, consciously or unconsciously. Join Dr. Peterson as he guides you through choosing the proper story that allows you to orient your life in the direction you want to go. Stream exclusively on DailyWire+.

Fix What Bothers You To Avoid Suffering Where You Can
Jung said, first of all, unite your mind with your emotions. The next conjunction he talked about was that it is not enough to unite your mind and your emotions. He thought about that as a male-female pairing symbolically; that is how it would manifest itself sometimes in dreams. You take the masculine element and the feminine element; the thinking and the emotion unite and that makes you more like one thing. Now all of a sudden, that is represented as symbolically male — that one thing — and it unites with something else that is now represented symbolically feminine — female. That is the body. So you take the mind-emotion integration and integrate that in your body. So what does that mean? You act it out instead of just thinking.

Jordan Peterson Discusses His Meeting With Cristiano Ronaldo
During an interview about a year ago, Piers Morgan asked me about meeting with Christian Ronaldo. He had watched some of my videos and read one of my books and told me he had found them helpful, so he invited me to come see him. Ronaldo and I had a strategic conversation about his future, which is what I enjoyed in my clinical practice. I would ask, if you could envision a path forward to somewhere better, what would that look like? It is not a question people ask themselves with enough depth, but my clinical practice was predicated on developing that vision and implementing the strategies that could be put in place to make that more likely. Ultimately, you must organize your behavior in such a way that allows you to move toward a desirable end.
