My name is Huldah Hiltsley and I’m the Women Winning’s endorsed candidate for Minnesota House District 38A!
I have long felt called to serve my community by running for office. It was so inspiring to be with Women Winning Pro-Choice Champions at their Annual Luncheon this year! The most exciting part was lining up with my fellow Women Winning candidates for the Procession. This year, there were so many candidates lined up to participate that we didn’t even fit in the hallway we were waiting in!
The procession is a real show of the political power that we have when we come together. We are always stronger together when we defend and expand reproductive freedom.
The Annual Luncheon funds Women Winning’s direct work with candidates like me. From endorsement and campaign contribution, to working closely with my campaign during convention season, to connecting us with a PLOT participant for the summer, Women Winning has shown up for me! Now we need to show up for them.
Women Winning means so much more than just electoral victories; it represents progress, empowerment, and the breaking down of systemic barriers. It signifies that diverse voices are being heard and valued in spaces where they were historically marginalized. When women, especially women of color, win, it inspires hope and confidence in future generations, showing them that their dreams are achievable despite societal obstacles.
