<[link removed]> At Swing Left, we’re still working on the November elections because, despite the circumstances, Republicans will do anything to hold onto their power. If you’re ready to help elect responsible leaders, keep reading to learn how you can transform our government.

Coronavirus turned a lot of our 2020 plans on their heads, so we’ve expanded the ways you can take action remotely.

During this time we’re apart, we’re bringing people together online to save democracy with virtual letter writing parties. It’s the same great community event that Swing Left volunteers have hosted thousands of times, done entirely online.

We’re having letter writing parties four times a week over Zoom to give everybody a chance to join. So if you’re looking for a way to make a big impact on key elections with other people, or just something different to do for an hour one day, RSVP today for a virtual letter writing party.

The November elections are getting closer and closer, and we have to be ready. Next to knocking doors, letter writing is the most effective way to contact voters—and since we can’t count on those door-knocking shifts, we need to write more letters than before.

Swing Left volunteers new and old have come together at these virtual parties to build community and take action. And we’d love to see you at the next one, John!

If you’ve never written turnout letters before, it’s a super easy way to help swing a competitive election by helping people vote. Our friends at Vote Forward provide a tested letter template, so you just have to do three things:
1. Write why it’s important to vote
2. Address the envelope
3. Mail on the deadline

And no two parties will be the same: each party will feature a different host, different guests, and maybe a special theme—so every party you join will be a totally unique experience.
