Hi John,
When I heard the other day that the U.S. Postal Service is on the brink of collapse with no help in sight, I knew I needed to speak up.
This is personal to me. My mom worked for the Postal Service for 33 years. On that salary, she raised me and my sisters in a rent-stabilized apartment. Because of that job we all had health care, and when she retired it was with a good pension.
We need to rush emergency aid now to keep the Postal Service running. Join me in demanding Congress include immediate, adequate funding for the Postal Service in the next coronavirus stimulus bill.

The Postal Service is more than just another government agency, John.
It's a system that provides life-saving medication to doorsteps, keeps rural and Native communities connected, and helps small businesses stay afloat.
It's a system that keeps us all interconnected, especially during a time when we’re forced to be apart.
It's a system that employs hundreds of thousands of workers, just like my mom, who have families to support, bills to pay, and mouths to feed.
The Post Office is more than just a public service; it's a lifeline, and it's a vital part of everyday life that we absolutely cannot afford to lose.
Add your name to demand that Congress and the White House fully fund the United States Postal Service in the next stimulus bill.
