Friends,
It's the political season. You're bombarded with requests from politicians for money. It's overwhelming and exhausting. I get it.
Growing up lower-middle class, I couldn't fathom giving to a candidate. Especially now, after being involved in politics, I fundamentally believe in campaign finance reform. Big money, corporate PACs, and ultra-wealthy donors looking for political influence shouldn't shape our elections.
But that's precisely why we come to you, asking for $5, $10, $25 [[link removed]] , whatever you can spare. Unlike many candidates, my campaign is fueled exclusively by hardworking, everyday people chipping in what they can, when they can. We rely on small-amount donations because people believe in the cause.
It's so important we keep momentum.
As we get ready to face off against MAGA extremist, Trump-endorsed Rep. Jack Bergman, we have the best campaign to finally defeat him, but we have to win big in August first, and it will require more resources.
We have ads to buy, yard signs to deliver, and literature to order for our massive door-knocking program. It's all contingent upon having enough funds to win.
I hate saying that. Truly. I want to get to Congress to help people's pocketbooks, not align my own. Rest assured, every dollar you contribute goes to my hardworking staff, travel expenses, and necessary infrastructure and outreach that keeps us at the forefront of voters' minds.
Voting begins soon, and every new day, I need you more than ever. If you've given recently, thank you. I am eternally grateful. It means more than you know, and we will continue to express our gratitude.
Thank you for being part of this movement. We're fighting for universal healthcare, affordable housing, childcare, and education. We're advocating for women's rights, LGBTQ rights, workers' rights, and especially an economic / tax system that works for everyone, not just corporations and billionaires. We need livable wages, union protections, and better jobs.
We can get there with your help.
Your donations help me keep up our fight. [[link removed]]
I'm always available to chat if you have any questions about the campaign. Feel free to reply, and I will contact you.
Onward,
Bob
