Hi John, it’s Rep. Pat Ryan. You may know me as the Representative for New York’s 18th Congressional District, or as the former Ulster County Executive, or maybe you don’t know me yet. That’s okay. Today I’m not here to tell you about me. I’m here to ask you to step up in a major way to help elect my friend and fellow Veteran, Sarah Klee Hood.
Sarah is running in one of New York’s most favorable Districts for Democrats in 2024. And she MUST win. There is simply too much at stake from abortion rights and gun safety – rising costs to environmental protections, for us to allow any other outcome.
I believe in Sarah because I know that as I once did, Sarah has raised her right hand and swore an oath to protect American freedoms no matter the cost. She takes that oath very seriously. In the military as a U.S. Air Force Operations Officer, Sarah led a team of 140 across 4 divisions. On the Dewitt Town Council, she secured funding for a comprehensive sidewalk program in her community, and now she is running for Congress to fight for working families in NY-22.
In Congress, Sarah will be another strong voice for working families across Central New York.
