Trump knows, just like us, the road to the White House runs straight through Wisconsin. In our state, elections often come down to less than a single percentage point which means the far-right will be dropping millions of dollars and sending big names to tour.
But we have something they don’t: a grassroots movement built by values-driven leadership.
And while Trump and the WisGOP will try to rally supporters to put on a big show tomorrow, we’ll be knocking doors, having conversations with voters, and mobilizing our neighbors to make their voices heard.
That’s something we’ve been doing for years — and it works.
But if we’re going to show Trump and the WisGOP that we’ll meet them head on to defeat them this November, we need to build up a surge of support for Democrats and make Trump’s visit backfire.
