It's Better Transport Week 2024!

Hello Supporter

Today is the first day of #BetterTransportWeek 2024 and we're in Wolverhampton for the official launch.

With pub crawls, beach picnic, roundtables and discussion events planned, there's something for everyone during Better Transport Week. Make sure you check the listings to see if there's an event near you. Don't forget to let us know if you're holding an event yourself so we can add it to our website.

Scenic Rail competition

To mark Better Transport Week, Community Rail Network (through their Scenic Rail Britain campaign) are inviting you to share ‘scenic views’ from your train seat. Whether it’s rolling hills, snowy mountain caps, wonderful wildlife, bustling cities or roaring rivers, we want you to share the view from your seat on social media to celebrate the joys of train travel. Simply take a snap and post on X, Facebook or Instagram and make sure you use the hashtag #scenicrailview.

If we pick one of yours as our favourite you could bag yourself one of these brilliant prizes:
  • A £100 rail travel voucher
  • A family trip on the Bodmin Heritage Railway
  • A return ticket for two with Greater Anglia
  • A signed copy of Pete Dyson's book, Transport for Humans
The competition closes at 23:59 on Sunday 23 June so get snapping!
