“Indeed, God is my salvation;
I will trust him and not be afraid,
for the Lord, the Lord himself,
is my strength and my song.
He has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:2
Friend,
This verse comes from a chapter in the book of Isaiah titled “A Song of Praise.”
It is a great reminder that we should sing His praises every day of our lives, for what He did for us and what He will do. He is strong to save and faithful in love.
Willingly Jesus came down from Heaven to pay a debt we could never pay, but one we owed.
This in itself always gives us reason to praise! No matter our circumstances or trials, we can praise God for this gift of salvation. He gives us more than we deserve.
Words cannot express our gratitude, but songs of praise should flow from us as we build our lives on the rock of Jesus Christ.
