Hi John, it’s nice to meet you! I’m Errol, Cori’s dad.
First off, I want to wish all the dads, grandfathers, pa-pas, and father figures in our movement a Happy Father’s Day.
Being a father has been the greatest privilege in my life. Watching Cori transform our politics and deliver real change to St. Louis fills my heart with joy.
You see, Cori always swore up and down that politics wasn’t for someone like her. As a child, she watched me work long hours as a public servant and asked why anyone would ever volunteer for that. She saw the hatred and the nastiness that often accompanies politics.

But she also saw the impact you can truly have on people's lives. Ever since she was a little girl, Cori has made it her life’s mission to help others because she knows that, whether you’re an elected official or not, it is our duty to help people.
After Michael Brown was killed in 2014, I remember Cori was on the frontlines of the Ferguson Uprising for over 400 days, taking care of people and demanding accountability. My baby girl was following her calling by attending to our community, putting her love and compassion to work as a nurse and a pastor in the streets of Ferguson, just minutes from her childhood home. For her, this movement has never been about just one person, and it’s certainly not about her; it’s about justice and equality for ALL people.
I’m so proud of Cori and everything she’s accomplished during her time in Congress. She’s already recognized as a key leader in the movement for racial and social justice, and I know that there’s so much more she’s ready to tackle.
But first, we need to have Cori’s back in her competitive primary this August. Between me and you, all I want this Father’s Day is to see my daughter win – because she’s advancing our movement in the Halls of Congress.
Can I count on you to support my daughter’s re-election campaign by donating what you can today? I can’t express my appreciation enough for you all. [[link removed]]

[link removed] [[link removed]] As a frontline Ferguson activist, a formerly unhoused single mother of two, a nurse, a survivor, and a pastor, Congresswoman Cori Bush knows the struggles our communities face on a daily basis. In 2020, on a mission to save lives, she defeated a 52-year political dynasty; in 2022, St. Louis sent her back to Congress with a strong mandate to champion racial, economic, reproductive, gender, health, and environmental justice.
Now, Cori is running for re-election to continue doing the most for everyone, starting with those who have the greatest need. [[link removed]]
