Improving Land Ports of Entry

This week, my bill to improve our land ports of entry advanced through the House Committee on Homeland Security.

Land ports of entry are essential for legal travel and trade between the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The REVAMP Act will give U.S. Customs and Border Protection personnel the authority to address urgent maintenance projects more swiftly so that our international bridges can be in the best shape possible.

Strengthening Our Homeland Security

Supporting America's Military

This week, I voted to support the final passage of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025 in the U.S. House of Representatives.

This important legislation provides a pay raise for our troops, improves military housing, supports employment for military spouses, prioritizes quality of life initiatives for military families, and equips our armed services to defend against America's adversaries.
