Paraquat is deadly. Ingesting even a small amount can be fatal, and there is no antidote. Exposure to paraquat has been linked to chronic health issues, including Parkinson’s disease and severe lung damage. The continued use of paraquat in the U.S. raises serious ethical concerns about exposing Americans to risks other countries have found unacceptable.
