Patriot, Thanks to your calls and e-postcards, the U.S. House adopted Amendment 48 to restore due process and prohibit indefinite detention of Americans. That’s the good news. But now, the National Defense
Authorization Act (NDAA) is in the Senate, and we must demand they do the same! Campaign for Liberty has fought to restore the freedom of Americans ever since this unconstitutional provision was signed into law by Barack Obama. Now, we are within striking distance of repealing this hideous violation of our rights once and for all. But we only made it this far thanks to your continued pressure on Congress. Take one moment right now to tell your U.S. Senators to support the NDAA provision repealing the indefinite detention of American citizens. Right now, the President can throw American citizens he deems “enemies of the state” into prison without ever charging them with a crime. No president should ever have that power! You and I MUST repeal the indefinite detention provision NOW –
especially since we are in the run-up to a major election in which they will stop at nothing to manipulate public opinion at the last
minute. We’ve gotten this far. Now we must demand our senators finish the job and repeal indefinite detention. The Biden regime has crossed the line, declaring protesters to be “insurrectionists” and even suspending some of their due process rights . . . this provision of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) needs to be removed now. So take one moment right now to contact your U.S. Senators by clicking here. And if, after you send your e-postcard to your Senators, you follow up with a contribution to Campaign for Liberty, your support makes it possible for C4L to increase the pressure by bringing this message to more patriots like you. Identifying and reaching out to bring in new members and supporters isn’t free. Neither is mobilizing and delivering your petitions to the Capitol. But the more resources we have, the more we can do, so if possible, after signing your e-postcard to the Senate, follow up by chipping in a contribution to help us win this battle. For Liberty, John McCardell Executive Director Campaign for Liberty P.S. You and I passed the ban on indefinite detention of Americans in the U.S. House, so we’re halfway there. Passing this amendment should be a no-brainer, but remember, there are those in Washington, D.C. who want to ignore the Constitution and appear eager to throw their opponents in prison without charges or trial. That’s why it’s so critical you contact both your U.S. Senators now and DEMAND they strip the indefinite detention of American citizens out of the NDAA. Click here to sign your e-postcard to your Senators. And then, please consider chipping in a donation to help us keep the pressure on Congress to restore the Constitution and end indefinite detention!
