Dear John,

We hope you’re keeping safe and healthy during these challenging times.

Next Wednesday marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and despite social distancing, we’re working hard to bring you quality social-distancing friendly events that educate and empower throughout Earth Week.

The best part is, you can join us for the events from the comfort of your own home through Zoom meetings!

Jump start the week by watching the documentary film, The Human Element, on Monday at 7 p.m. The film details the lives of Americans as they start to see the impacts of climate change seep into their everyday lives.

Next up on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m., join us for our Labor and Clean Energy Forum with UW-Green Bay Democracy and Justice Studies professor Jon Shelton and Jesse Michalski, a Project Manager for Eland Electric and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers member. They’ll be discussing the cross-sections of organized labor and Wisconsin’s future clean energy landscape.

Want your community to move toward clean energy goals? On Thursday, April 23 at 3 p.m. we'll walk you through our recently released Clean Energy Toolkit and teach you how to start your own clean energy campaign.

Young people are leading the way in the global fight against climate change. End the week on Friday at 3:30 p.m., with our Youth Climate Panel to hear what young leaders from across Wisconsin are doing in their communities for climate justice.

The week will be chock-full of opportunities to learn and become more involved. Please, make sure to RSVP below any or all of the events you’d like to attend!
