GOP Victory at the 2024 Congressional Baseball Game

Excited to bring home another GOP win at the 2024 Congressional Baseball Game! I am proud to announce that this year’s game raised 2.2 million dollars for charity. America’s pastime brings people together, and I am honored to serve as coach for the Republican team. This year also marked the 7-year anniversary of the baseball shooting. Four Small Business Committee Bills Pass the House

Small businesses are the lifeblood of America. This week, the House passed four small business bills to help America’s entrepreneurs succeed. As Chairman, I was proud to speak in support of H.R. 7988, H.R. 7989, H.R. 8014, and H.R. 7984. I also spoke in favor of my amendment to block funding to organizations demonetizing small businesses simply for exercising their First Amendment rights. Watch here.

Financial Services Committee Hearings

The House Committee on Financial services held two committee hearings this week. The first hearing examined oversight of the FDIC’s failed leadership and toxic workplace culture which has ​​hindered the FDIC from fulfilling its duties to the American people. Watch my line of questioning here. In the second hearing, CFPB Director Chopra answered questions on his continued burdensome overregulations and privacy and data concerns.
