John, I know it’s Father’s Day — so I’ll be quick. I wanted to take a minute to talk about being a dad — and why I’m fighting for my family and yours. It would mean a lot if you’d read the whole thing — but if you’re in a hurry, will you chip in $15 before you sign off? >>
John, I’ve held many titles throughout my life.
First Generation College Grad. Teacher. State Senator. And hopefully, soon — Congressman.
But first and foremost, I’m “Dad” to these two beautiful kids.
All I want is for my kids to grow up in a world that is better, more just, and filled with more opportunity.
If you’re a parent, I have no doubt you feel exactly the same way.
And frankly, I refuse to sit by and do nothing knowing that here in Nebraska, working families are struggling to get by while Don Bacon enables extremists in DC.
I refuse to settle for a Congressman who turns away from our kids and families to give handouts to the wealthy and powerful.
I believe every kid should have the opportunity to succeed — and that means investing in our public schools, passing gun safety reform, tackling climate change, and so much more.
That’s exactly why I’m running to flip this seat from red to blue.
Right now, I have one of the best chances in the country to replace a Republican Congressman and help Democrats take back the House. I’m running for my family, and yours. I’m fighting for your family as though it were my own. But I can’t do it alone. I set an ambitious goal to raise 700 gifts before Father’s Day ends at midnight, and it would mean so much if I could count on your $15. Will you step up? >>
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share my story and earn your support.
– Tony
