Hi Friend,

Well, even a broken clock is right twice a day, and the Supreme Court's decision to allow for continued access to the birth control pill, mifepristone, is the right legal decision. But, on the same day as that decision, the GOP members of the Senate blocked a bill to protect access to IVF treatments. 

To be clear, the Republican party is NOT the party of personal freedom or liberty. They want the government to be able to take away your basic and fundamental human rights.  

This is simply part of a much larger agenda to take away basic rights that all of us should enjoy, including: 

1) the right to love who we want and be who we want to be

2) the right to read the books that we want

3) the right to be free from gun violence

4) the right to affordable and accessible health insurance

We MUST take back the House of Representatives if we're going to stop these draconian changes from coming to fruition. My race is one of only a handful of seats that are "in play" and I need your help to defeat my MAGA extremist opponent and flip the People's House back to the Democrats. 

Now, more than ever, we must continue the fight.
