This Father’s Day, I’d like to share a few thoughts with you.

Due to our personal journey to become parents, Father’s Day has always held special significance for us. This year, it feels particularly meaningful as the GOP continues to erode women's rights to reproductive freedom following the Dobbs decision.

Twenty-one years ago, we embarked on the challenging and costly journey of in vitro fertilization, a medical miracle that enabled Joe to become the incredible father he is today (look how cute they are together!).

Thanks to IVF, safeguarded by Roe v. Wade, Joe and I have our son Joey, who will turn 21 this year and is our greatest gift.

Yet, Republicans across the country are determined to strip future families of this same joy. Just this week, Senate Republicans blocked legislation that would guarantee nationwide access to IVF and other fertility treatments. It’s infuriating!

So, this Father’s Day, the best gift I can give Joe is to ask you to support his campaign to flip CA-40 blue. Joe has a plan to counter the GOP’s extremist agenda.

Joe will be our fiercest defender in Congress, fighting tirelessly to enshrine reproductive rights at the federal level. Without women's healthcare and reproductive freedom, Joe wouldn’t be a dad, and he’s committed to protecting and ensuring these rights for everyone.
