John — Happy Father's Day! 🌟

We’re celebrating all the amazing dads out there who inspire, support, and love unconditionally, just like my dad, Clarence Underwood.

My dad taught me about discipline.

He's a former football player and a classical pianist. When my sister and I were growing up, he taught us to play the piano.

I practiced every day from first grade to my senior year in high school. And I have to admit it wasn't always my favorite thing to do. But I was always improving.

That's one of the most lasting lessons my dad gave me: to seek to get better every single day. That's how I think about my responsibility to my constituents.

So many of you have gotten to know my dad on the campaign trail, and I know he's missing everyone.
