I’ve played a few heroic characters in my career, but I know I’ll never truly understand the massive sacrifices our heroes in uniform make every day to protect and serve our country.

These individuals put their lives on the line so you and I can live safe and happy lives in a free and prosperous country. They deserve more honors than we have to give, and I’m committed to doing whatever I can to support them.

That’s why I’m partnering with the USO this Father’s Day to collect 25,000 signatures from grateful Americans — including yours. This is one of the toughest days of the year for military dads and their families, and our words of support can make a big difference, so please: Will you add your name next to mine to wish military dads around the world a Happy Father’s Day?

During the Gulf War, I had the chance to visit our service members in Saudi Arabia alongside the USO — and since then, I’ve joined USO tours in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Haiti and Somalia. These visits showed me firsthand how impactful the USO’s support is in the day-to-day lives of service members — and how much it means for these heroes to hear the words “thank you” from grateful Americans like us.

A lot of people in this country take our freedom for granted — but it’s something that was earned and continues to be earned by people risking their lives and sacrificing precious moments with their loved ones. The least we can do is say thank you.

Please join me in thanking our heroes in uniform this Father’s Day. Sign the card now to show military dads around the world you’re thinking of them and that you appreciate everything they do for us.

Thank you so much for being there for our service members — on Father’s Day and every day.
