I’m wishing a happy Father’s Day to all of the dads, father figures, and male role models out there!
My dad has always been a role model for me – he showed me what it meant to have the courage to act and the dedication to those in your care. In fact, my commitment to Delaware’s veteran community stems from my relationship with him: he served in the Army National Guard and as an Army infantry medic.
I am proud to look back at his legacy and honor him through my work with veterans – and to look forward to the future by empowering young fathers and their families. From making over 15,000 canisters of baby formula available for pickup to prioritizing early childhood education, I know that providing resources and assistance for fathers is key to making Delaware the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
On this Father’s Day, please join me in honoring the many Delawarean fathers and father figures who support and uplift their loved ones every day!
