Colin never knew his own dad, so from the moment we decided to start a family, he was determined to be involved in everything.

He was by my side at every doctor's appointment, and when our first child was born, Colin became the first member of Congress ever to take paternity leave, setting an important precedent.

I know Colin will make a great Senator. He's committed to doing the right thing, not just for our family, but for every Texan. He's fighting to make our state and our country the best place it can be for every kid and every family.

Colin is the kind of guy who breaks down a barrier and then reaches back to help the next person through. And he can win this thing – polls show him tied with Ted Cruz – but he and I know that this race will not be won easily. Colin needs your grassroots support to keep reaching voters and get it done.
