Dear John,

We hope this message finds you and your loved ones in good health and high spirits. With Eid ul-Adha approaching, we at MPAC wanted to take a moment to reflect on the significance of this blessed occasion and share our heartfelt wishes with our community.

Eid ul-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, commemorates Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. This powerful story of faith, sacrifice, and devotion reminds us of the importance of these values in our lives. It is a time for us to come together as a community, celebrate our shared faith, and extend our hands to those in need.

As we celebrate this joyous occasion, it is crucial to remember those struggling and hold their liberation at the forefront of our hearts and minds. Our communities are hurting, and we are going into this Eid with a heavy heart, mindful of the challenges and injustices many face. The principles of justice and liberation are deeply rooted in our Islamic faith. God reminds us in the Quran:

"O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do."
– Quran 5:8
At MPAC, our work is grounded in these Islamic principles. By promoting justice, ensuring civil rights, and fostering positive relationships between American Muslims and their fellow citizens, we strive to create a world where everyone can live with dignity and respect. This Eid, let us reaffirm our dedication to these principles and continue our collective efforts to support and uplift our community.

In the spirit of Eid ul-Adha, we encourage you to engage in acts of kindness and generosity. Whether through supporting charitable causes, volunteering your time, or simply reaching out to those who may need support, these actions honor the essence of this sacred holiday and strengthen the bonds within our community.

We are grateful for your unwavering support and dedication to MPAC’s mission. May this Eid bring you and your families joy, peace, and blessings.

Eid Mubarak!
