Trump’s shark tale: We have to come up with a new word for “unhinged”
"We have to come up with a new word for “unhinged," writes Lucian K. Truscott IV at Salon. That was my reaction after watching the entirety of Donald Trump’s speech at his Las Vegas rally on Sunday. We also need a new phrase for “word salad,” because it does not adequately describe either the structure or content of Trump’s sentences…if they can be called that." While the media obsesses over Joe Biden's age and push false narratives out of partisan ambition and pure spite, Donald Trump's brains are falling out of his head on live television — made astoundingly clear by reading the full transcript of his now infamous "shark battery" speech, which some in the media have dismissed as "riffing" but is obviously the product of a failing cerebral cortex full of dumpster juice. His Broca's area is desperately trying to make sense of the random synapses firing in his brain, interspersing old episodes of Shark Week with his half-remembered stump speech to create a potent cocktail of incomprehensible gibberish that is so far removed from President Biden's occasional stuttering that it might as well be on a boat in the middle of the ocean. This man's brain does not exist in the same plane of reality that we do.

Sinclair injects deceptive attacks on Biden's age into dozens of local broadcasts
Long story short, billionaires own the majority of our media ecosystem and are using it to push spurious smear campaigns against President Joe Biden. A prime example can be found in an article recently published by the newspaper of choice for monocled, mustache-twirling tycoons lobbying their state government to allow them to enslave local orphans — the Wall Street Journal, of course! — entitled "Behind Closed Doors, Biden Shows Signs of Sipping." This article brags that they spoke to 45 people on the record...but only one of them, extremely trustworthy and definitely unbiased Republican former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, bothered to put his name behind the allegations. The rest are all anonymous Republican officials; several Democrats provided the Wall Street Journal with on-the-record quotes about their impressions of Biden, but none of them were included in the piece. It's biased, deceitful and unprofessional muckraking in the very worst sense of the word, so of course that "report" got picked up by the right-wing billionaire owned Sinclair news network and blasted out to 185 local television stations across 86 markets, masquerading as "local news." And that's how a bullshit false narrative gets blasted into the brains of everyday Americans.

Years after an international coalition defeated the ISIS caliphate and drove its fighters deep into the desert, tens of thousands of captured fighters from dozens of countries languish in a network of US-built desert concentration camps run by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces group — along with an estimated 30,000 children, many of whom are now coming of age and have never committed any crimes. It's the highest concentration of children arbitrarily detained and deprived of their freedom anywhere in the world. Detainees allege torture and poor conditions, while officials worry about the possibility of creating new disciples for the terror group. “This place is a literal breeding ground for the next generation of ISIS. These young people are vulnerable to radicalization given their very poor quality of life,” says Gen. Erik Kurilla, the head of US Central Command. The SDF and the US want to repatriate the fighters to face justice in their home countries, but many of them come from nations with little interest in dealing with their criminal countrymen. To try to stem the tide — teenage boys are smuggled out of the camp to ISIS training camps on a monthly basis — the SDF has instituted a harsh policy of separating teen boys from their mothers at 14 in order to rehabilitate them and stop the mothers from radicalizing them, which in itself is a violation of international law. But given the lack of interest from anyone in dealing with the forgotten children of ISIS, there's not many options left to them.
