FEMA Disaster Assistance Still Available
The Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) is providing assistance to Texans affected by the severe storms, tornadoes, flooding and high winds that began April 26, 2024.
If you experienced storm related damage and seek assistance from FEMA, you may apply online or by phone at disasterassistance.gov/ or call the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362 between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Help is available in most languages. If you use a relay service, such as video relay (VRS), captioned telephone or other service, give FEMA your number for that service.

Academy Nominations Application Information
We are currently accepting applications for a nomination to a service academy. The honor of attending a service academy comes with the obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
Members of Congress may nominate candidates for appointment to four of the five U.S. service academies: U.S. Military Academy (USMA), West Point, NY; the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA), Annapolis, MD; the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), Colorado Springs, CO; and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA), Kings Point, NY. The fifth service academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA), New London, CT, does not require a congressional nomination for appointment.
