Hey John,

I have to be honest, we’re pacing behind on our fundraising goal right now, and it’s worrisome.

It’s worrisome because FiveThirtyEight just forecasted Arizona as the most competitive state for the presidential race.

It’s worrisome because extreme Republicans in our state legislature relentlessly attack LGBTQ+ Arizonans, target reproductive rights, and allow election conspiracies to dictate policy decisions.

And it’s especially worrisome because Kari Lake, my former opponent, is running for the U.S. Senate on the same divisive, dangerous agenda.

We can’t afford to fall short on our monthly goals when so much is at stake, John.
