Hi John,
If one thing remains true, it’s that there’s always something.
Take it from me — when I saw a lack of diverse advocates, I joined the school governance committee to speak up for the overlooked. Then when I felt the county was not adequately funding schools, I ran for Orange County Commissioner (where I championed the construction of two schools, two senior centers, affordable housing initiatives, and more).
And when I felt the state was not doing enough to provide for the common good, I ran for State House. Then… you guessed it! – I ran to represent NC-04 in Congress because no matter what, there will always be more work to be done.
Now, I’m running for re-election in NC-04. There’s still a lot left to do in Congress, and I’m not one to slow down. So, what do you say, John? Will you support me in boosting our momentum by contributing $5 or what you can today?

I was born and raised in this district, and have served the community my entire life. The driving force behind my campaigns has been the unwavering support of my neighbors and peers.
I will never grow tired of giving back to NC-04, or falter in my advocacy of life-changing legislation — everything I do is for my home district.
Thank you for standing by me on this journey,
Valerie Foushee
