Our campaign is making a few people nervous; people who are happy with the status quo.
They know when we talk about Medicare for All, we’re promoting a policy the majority of Americans -- Republican and Democrat -- support.
When we talk about a system where the wealthy pay their fair share, most Americans agree.
When we reject unregulated corporate bailouts while most Americans struggle to get by, they know we are on the right side of history.
And today, I’m pleased to announce the National Republican Senate Committee has deemed us a formidable opponent to Senator Joni Ernst. They’ve decided maybe our message is too strong, too real, too likely to succeed.
And they’re taking out billboards to try and scare Iowans from voting for real, progressive change.
This is an ad the NRSC is famous for running when progressive candidates get a little too close to victory for their liking.
I am proud we are making them uncomfortable, and I don’t plan on letting up.
