When I first considered running for this seat, some friends of mine thought I was a little crazy. While we live in a close district, there’s no doubt that Arizona’s 2nd Congressional leans more towards Republicans than it does towards Democrats. But here’s the thing: our do-nothing Congressman, Eli Crane, now has a track record of getting nothing done for our rural Arizona communities, instead focusing all his attention on the most noxious culture wars infecting our democracy. Put simply, Eli Crane would rather spend his time on the right-wing podcast circuit with convicted criminals like Steve Bannon than work to actually address the issues impacting our communities.
