Dear Friends,

The current pandemic has brought about a great deal of anxiety, fear, and loneliness for many of us. But with so much uncertainty, our country is proving we can come together by being apart.

Even in some of our darkest days, millions of people around the country have answered the call to help #StopTheSpread.

Healthcare workers, sanitation crews, grocery and agriculture workers, postal workers, electrical and energy workers, funeral providers, military personnel, and so many more are making enormous sacrifices to keep our communities afloat. They deserve our deepest gratitude for all they've done for our country since this public health emergency started.

But especially in the upcoming months, thanks are not enough. For every worker who is putting their health on the line to clock in and get the job done, they also deserve to have the full extent of employee benefits and worker safety protections.

In Congress, I promise to work as hard as I can to give our workers and their families what they need in these difficult weeks. I’ll keep fighting for them because they are fighting for us.
