[link removed] [[link removed]] I’ve run enough campaigns to know that sometimes, in order to win, you have to ask people for things. A lot. Even when asking feels uncomfortable.
Like right now. Listen, it’s a Saturday. You’ve got a life. I’ve got, well, a bunch of Zoom meetings. I’d rather not be bothering you right now.
But I have to. You know why? Because we are up against an absolutely staggering amount of spending by extremist groups in this district. They know the race for control of the House runs right through KS-03.
The only way for us to overcome that level of opposition in a district this competitive is to run an extremely disciplined, persistent, and, yes, even at times annoying campaign.
The fact is, with our mid-month deadline just a few hours away, we can’t afford to go the rest of the day without a big surge in grassroots donations. So… that leaves me no choice but to send this email.
