Our nation is experiencing a particularly polarizing era. Congress is seemingly dominated by chaos and egos working for their own, personal gain. Far too often, the real issues affecting communities are neglected.

But, Valerie is an outlier from this crowd, as she has never lost sight of why she does this — to uplift the common good.

Valerie has taken a vow not to simply spew crowd-pleasing rhetoric, and instead hit the ground running by prioritizing palpable, lasting change for NC-04 and beyond. She believes in leadership guided by what brings us together, rather than what separates us.
