This isn't the first time Republicans have used servicewomen as political footballs. I doubt it will be the last. ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏

I'm so damn SICK of these headlines, John:

House Republicans pass new abortion restrictions in Veterans Affairs bill

NBC News | June 5, 2024

I've said it before, and I'll say it every day of this campaign: I didn't fly an Apache helicopter over Baghdad and get shot at in the Army just to have MAGA and Brian Fitzpatrick take away the reproductive freedom of me and my sisters-in-arms.

So I'm doing everything I can to defeat Fitzpatrick and get to Congress so I can protect the very freedoms I put my life on the line for in combat. Will you help me get there? Pitch in $10 or more.

This isn't even the first time anti-choice Republicans including Brian Fitzpatrick have used servicewomen as a political football. Last summer, he joined with 220 of his colleagues in voting to overturn a Pentagon policy that guarantees service members can get an abortion no matter where they are stationed (luckily, they failed).

As service members, we choose to put our lives on the line for our country. But we don't choose if we live in a state that bans abortion – we go wherever we're told.

It's disgusting to see my and my sisters-in-arms' sacrifice repaid this way over and over again.

Well, no more. I'm going to fight like hell to defeat Brian Fitzpatrick and defend our service members and veterans from these attacks. But I can't do it alone – will you pitch in to my campaign?

Thanks for being in this fight with me as my co-pilot,

Ashley 🚁
