We’re less than three weeks away from the general election. With party manifestos launched, canvassers knocking on doors and a constant stream of election news, it’s almost impossible to ignore.

Between now and polling day, there will be opportunities to question candidates in person at hustings events or even on your doorstep. Opportunities like this are rare – it's a chance to force candidates, and perhaps your future MP, to engage directly with our debt campaigns.

Rarely has the need for action on debt been so great. Globally, we’re facing the worst debt crisis in 30 years – and at home, over 10 million people in the UK are now weighed down by debt.

Thousands of us have already taken action to put debt on the agenda this election – calling for political parties to commit to a new debt justice law and demanding candidates support our Together Against Debt People’s Manifesto.
