Hi there, it’s Jennifer McCormick – the Democratic nominee for governor of Indiana – and I want to give it to you straight: Extremists like my opponent Mike Braun have made it their mission to take away our reproductive freedoms. This is not only something the vast majority of Hoosiers don’t want, it’s what the vast majority of Americans don’t want. So I’ve made it my mission to take on the anti-choice Republicans, and stop them – but I can’t do it alone. Team, this election will be an uphill battle, but it’s one we’re confident we can win – and it’s critical that we do. ​​Hoosiers are completely fed up with the type of leadership and extremism Braun would bring to the table – and we have every right to be.

Attacking public education, allowing companies to ship Indiana jobs out of state and overseas, attacking fundamental freedoms like reproductive rights and marriage equality; Mike Braun and the Republican party have prioritized extremism and dysfunction over the values of hard working Americans.

I am ready to step up and be the leadership that we deserve – that will work for ALL Hoosiers. I’m ready to stand up to the supermajority that is functioning like a derailed train, hellbent on getting nowhere, and I am determined to bring both parties together to fully fund public education, restore fundamental freedoms, and bring back jobs – but first I need to win.
