Hi John,
Last month, we hosted a virtual voter registration Couch Party with DJ D-Nice and were thrilled by the huge response. Whether you couldn't wait for our next event or you were sad to miss out, I have some great news...
Our Co-Chair Michelle Obama is joining our Couch Party 2.0 this Monday, April 20th! I'll be MCing the event and kicking things off with our Action Call at 7:15 pm ET/4:15pm PT, followed by our volunteer-led couch parties.
RSVP now to let us and Michelle Obama know you'll be there: [link removed]
As the coronavirus continues to impact our daily lives and disrupt our elections, it's important we're prepared to face this crisis head on and know how to vote safely.
So we're going to be doing things a little differently for our Couch Party 2.0. Starting right after the Action Call at 8 pm ET, we will walk you through how to help register friends and family and our own personal networks, share our stories of why voting matters to us, and also dig more into how we can all take action to join the fight for safe and fair elections.
Just last week in Wisconsin, thousands of voters didn't receive absentee ballots they requested and voters were forced to leave their homes -- risking their health, their family's health and defying a stay-at-home order -- to exercise their right to vote. That should never be a choice a voter has to make.
I hope you'll join us to learn more about our efforts to educate Americans about all their voting options, including vote by mail, and how you can get involved to help register your friends and family to vote. RSVP to the Couch Party 2.0 with Michelle Obama now >> [link removed]
Thank you,
Stephanie
