The heat is on, Friend. 🔥
The Summer of Heat on Wall Street kicked off on Monday with 150+ activists blocking the entrances to Citibank – one of the world’s largest funders of oil, gas, and coal companies heating up the planet.
Since then, we’ve been joined by “orcas,” climate scientists, and elders fighting for a livable future for the next generation. 100-plus people have been arrested this week, putting their bodies on the line to end Citibank’s funding of climate catastrophe.
We’re not stopping there – we’re taking action for another 11 weeks to stop the financing of fossil fuels, and we need your support. Can you chip in with a weekly donation through August 30th to help us fund bail support and our weekly Summer of Heat actions?

It’s been an intense week, Friend. We came out of the gate with action after action because that’s what this moment calls for. As our planet gets hotter, our collective future gets dimmer.
Communities like the ones we organize in will be hit hard by worsening storms and polluted air brought on by climate chaos. We’re already seeing those effects take place, with high rates of childhood asthma in places like the Bronx, intense flooding, and brutal snowstorms. If there was ever a time to take collective, escalated action – it’s now.
We’re gearing up for 11 more weeks of actions and civil disobedience to stop the chokehold fossil fuel companies and their funders have on our future. Each week has a different theme, but we’re unified in our demand to stop the financing of fossil fuels, and we’re not going to slow down.
We’re taking joyful, relentless action every week because our collective livable future demands it – and we need your support to make sure we have the resources we need to support activists taking arrest and our sustained campaign.
