Leaving so many without health insurance in the midst of a global health crisis is unacceptable. Cory was the first lawmaker in Congress to propose legislation that would reopen the exchanges for a special enrollment period for those impacted by the coronavirus. If passed, Cory’s bill would help people get the coverage they need before the regularly scheduled open enrollment period in November and December.

Republicans are still doing everything they can to strike down the ACA in the courts and undermine it every step of the way. But especially now, it should be easier, not harder, for Americans to receive health care coverage.
