When Wyoming Highway 22 (Teton Pass) collapsed in the early in the morning of June 8, Wyoming sprang into action. Within hours, the Wyoming Department of Transportation began working to reopen the route as quickly as possible. Elected officials, state employees and community members collaborated to mitigate the impacts and assist those whose lives have been upended by the closure. A temporary fix is on the horizon, and the collaboration from all involved is something Wyoming can be proud of. |
