John -- we have to save the U.S. Postal Service!
President Trump is threatening to let it go bankrupt, and to keep urgent USPS assistance out of the next phase of relief funding we will be passing when we resume session in Congess.
We know digital organizing works -- it’s one way we’ve made so much progress in our gun safety movement. And right now, we need to put our efforts behind saving the Post Office!
We still need another 1592 signatures to send President Trump the message that we won’t let him play politics with the jobs of 600,000 USPS workers. Will you sign our petition today demanding Trump save the U.S. Postal Service?
Thanks for taking action here,
With love,
-- Lucy

Without our help, John, the United States Postal Service (USPS) is in serious trouble.
Due to the effects of this pandemic and a sharp decline in volume of mail and packages, the USPS is set to “run out of money” in September. A House panel just found that service could be impacted as early as June, unless Congress bails out our postal workers.
But President Trump has said he would veto any bill providing critical relief to our post offices, putting the jobs of 600,000 USPS employees at risk →
