John — If you think your support doesn’t matter in the climate movement, think again.

In 2022, the Jane Fonda Climate PAC endorsed Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel because of her unwavering commitment to climate justice. Now, she's proving our point! AG Dana Nessel is gearing up for a legal battle against the fossil fuel giants who have profited at the expense of our planet.

She is preparing to sue oil and gas companies for knowingly selling products that wreak havoc on our climate. This monumental fight for justice could help recover the millions of dollars Michigan has spent battling stronger storms, invasive species, and harmful algal blooms — all fueled by the climate crisis.

Our endorsed candidates deliver on their promises when elected! If you can, please donate today to help us elect more bold climate champions like AG Dana Nessel who will hold the greedy fossil fuel industry accountable >>> [[link removed]]

The impacts of the climate crisis in Michigan are undeniable, with temperatures in the Great Lakes region rising by 2.3 degrees since 1951 and expected to climb even further. Michigan’s identity is under threat from warmer winters and severe weather events.

But AG Nessel isn’t the only one of our climate champions stepping up to the plate to take on the fossil fuel industry —

* In Chicago, Mayor Brandon Johnson is also making bold moves by taking legal action against major oil companies for misleading the public about climate harm. Johnson’s administration is demanding that these companies reimburse the city for climate-related damages.

* In California, Attorney General Rob Bonta recently doubled down on his similar lawsuit against several fossil fuel companies to ensure that Big Oil ends its practice of misleading the public and pays for the harm they’ve caused to the public along the way.

The fossil fuel industry has evaded responsibility for too long. They've lied to the public, prioritized profits over people, and left us to deal with the catastrophic consequences. Enough is enough!

AG Nessel, AG Bonta, and Mayor Johnson exemplify the fearless, accountable governance our planet desperately needs.

With your help, we can continue to elect leaders just like them who will fight back against the fossil fuel giants. Will you join us by making a donation today? [[link removed]]
