Attend our webinar to fight cockfighting, live pigeon shoots, and the unprecedented assault on owls [[link removed]]

DATE & TIME: Thursday, June 20, at 8 p.m. ET

Seats are filling fast, but you still have time to register for next week’s critical webinar on battling cockfighting, live pigeon shoots, and the government’s plan to shoot 500,000 protected barred owls.

Please join Wayne Pacelle and special guests to learn about these malevolent acts, what we’re doing to fight them, and—most importantly—what you can do to take action to stop them cold.

These barbarous activities result in the killing of millions of birds. Animals slashed to death in pits or shot up in killing fields and forest canopies because there’s not enough compassion for these vulnerable animals. And because of associated crime and the spread of disease with cockfighting, even people aren’t safe from them.

We can prevent the cruelty—the novel plan by our government to kill owls, the cloaked practice of live pigeon shoots by wealthy elites, and the ages-old practice of staging fights between animals just for human amusement. Together, we can change the fortunes of these animals. We are the last line of defense, and it’s time for action.

Join us Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT for the latest in our Claudia Miller Ignite Series on Animal Welfare. [[link removed]]

Cockfights.
While
many
people
consider
this
a
morally
settled
issue,
cockfighting
is
a
shockingly
widespread
practice,
happening
on
a
scale
that
is
hard
to

Every
year,
there
are
thousands
of
staged
fights
in
our
country,
and
millions
of
birds
are
trafficked
from
the
United

to
more

Each

Their

The

The one-hour webinar will highlight our plans and progress on state and national fronts. But our plans cannot take hold and have their intended effect without you. We want to brief you on the problems and work with you to execute plans to stop the slaughter. This webinar is a springboard to action.
