What was unusual is that the host actually tried to pin him down on what he meant by “reforms.” Johnson said the answer was to raise the retirement age. And we know that each year of increase amounts to a 7% benefit cut.

Speaker Johnson would rather force people to continue working than make millionaires and billionaires pay their fair share.
