Representation matters, and we couldn’t be more proud to support State Sen. Dallas Harris (NV) and State Sen. Lisa Grafstein (NC) this year.
Dallas Harris helped form the first LGBTQ+ caucus in Nevada, and Lisa Grafstein is the only openly LGBTQ+ member of the North Carolina State Senate.
These two brilliant LGBTQ+ candidates are running for re-election this year to continue improving the lives of people in their communities and giving a powerful voice to LGBTQ+ people in their districts.

While we’ve made historic gains at the state level to elect LGBTQ+ candidates, we can’t ignore the dark story about discriminatory legislation advancing at the state level.
Last year, 75 anti-LGBTQ+ bills became law across 23 states. These hateful and dangerous laws put trans youth at risk, ban life-saving health care, and restrict learning. And so far this year, 510 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been introduced, according to the ACLU.
The states are where the fight for the future of LGBTQ+ rights is happening, and right-wing donors are investing significantly to roll back our progress and silence LGBTQ+ voices.
That’s why it’s more important than ever that we dig deep to support Dallas Harris and Lisa Grafstein.
