The Big Deal in our House Today

Today, June 14, is Flag Day, but it is also my wife, April’s Birthday! She loves our country, and our flag has always meant a lot to her. Having a husband who has been serving as a State Delegate and then runs for Congress has been hard on her at times…but her support for me has been unwavering.

We pray about most decisions we make as a family, and April and I were both certain that God was calling us to run for Congress this past February. She has been working right alongside me ever since.

April is a retired CPA, she speaks French fluently, and she runs our summer swimming league, HASS, tirelessly. She has poured her energy into raising our 3 kids, and they are great. She is great. I am so thankful and blessed.

She is one of the most practical people I know, and she actually told me that she would love to see a few donations in her honor. She is kind of The Big Deal in our house, and I am thankful to be able to celebrate her Birthday today.

We will have a Silent Auction, and I think you will enjoy our celebration of freedom! The VIP reception is from 5-6:30 and the main event goes from 6:30-9 PM.
