Michaela here with a quick update on the campaign!
There’s been so much happening lately that it can be hard to keep up, so I
wanted to make sure our grassroots supporters heard directly from me about
how things are going.
[ [link removed] ]The short version is that we’re in a very strong position, so if you

First, thousands of people have joined Team McBride in recent weeks. That
includes over 400 people who have signed up to volunteer with the campaign
— and we’ve already knocked over 5,000 doors and made over 3,100 phone
calls. I can’t wait to see what those numbers are like after Election Day!
Second, Sarah earned a big endorsement this week from Delaware’s current
U.S. Representative, Lisa Blunt Rochester! She’s been such an effective
leader in the House, and she’s going to make an amazing U.S. Senator — our
whole team is so excited to have her on Team McBride.
Third, Sarah is now the sole remaining Democratic candidate for Delaware’s
open seat in Congress. But we still can’t take that for granted. There are
still a few weeks left before the filing deadline, so it’s still possible
another candidate could enter the race!
That’s why it’s so important that we keep the momentum going and prove to
everyone just how strong this campaign is by raising as much as we can
before our upcoming end-of-quarter deadline — and we need your help to do
it!
