You should have received your invitation to complete the Census by now, and even if you haven't, you can still complete the census! In this time of "Social Distancing", we know that sometimes you need a distraction, so why not use that time to complete the Census and join in our video challenge ([link removed]) with the other individuals who are standing up for the community.
Record a short video talking about why the Census matters to you and how you will be answering the race question using the hashtag #WeAllCount and tagging ACCESS once you’ve uploaded your video challenge onto social media. As we navigate the COVID-19 crisis, the need to complete the Census is more urgent than ever before. We urge you to complete the 2020 Census because an accurate count ensures that our communities get the resources we need, like funding for our children’s schools and college grants, the roads we drive on, advocacies for basic human rights and health, and even collecting data that informs the government response to pandemic, like the one we're unfortunately facing today.
Follow these instructions on how to start the Census:
1. Visit my2020census.gov ([link removed])
2. Click “start questionnaire”
3. Enter your unique Census ID number that you received in your invitation OR, if you didn't receive your invitation, use your address under the "If you do not have a Census ID, click here" link.

Do you or someone you know need assistance in completing the Census? We're here to help. Give us a call at 313-451-2011 and we can help you successfully complete the survey. Leave a message with your name and number so members of our staff can call you back if needed.
Our communities have a lot to lose if they are not counted in 2020. While we must do our part to ensure everyone can participate in the Census, a full and accurate count ultimately starts with you. Stand up for Arab American communities by taking the pledge to be counted, even if you have already completed your census!
