At a recent rally, Donald Trump said he would be “honored” to pardon January 6th insurrectionists.

Just a couple days later, a jury found him guilty of 34 felony counts — making him the first former president in American history to become a convicted felon.

For all the tough talk about “law and order,” Trump couldn’t care any less about respecting the rule of law. For him and the MAGA Republicans, it’s not about laws that affect them, it's about laws that affect those they hate. The hypocrisy is beyond measure.

And among the worst of all are Trump’s MAGA allies, like Elise Stefanik. She is 100% behind Pat’s GOP opponent, Alison Esposito — and in return, Alison is falling in line. Alison called the trial that resulted in Trump’s conviction a “full political trial.” And she said that “the only crime President Trump is guilty of is threatening the ruling elite.”
