James — AIPAC, corporate Democrats, Trump donors, and the entire political establishment are trying to defeat Jamaal Bowman in NY-16. So, it’s no surprise that Hillary Clinton endorsed against Jamaal, Bernie, and Our Revolution. There are a few things flat out wrong about Clinton’s endorsement tweet:

First, Clinton claims that Jamaal’s opponent will protect abortion rights, yet he’s taking a ton of AIPAC money from right-wing donors who are also donating to anti-abortion Republicans. Plus, Jamaal is a champion for reproductive freedom and abortion rights. Clinton is on the wrong side of this one.

Clinton says Jamaal’s opponent will fight for President Biden’s agenda, yet he doesn’t even support one of Biden’s progressive positions: raising taxes on the rich. No wonder why GOP billionaires and corporate Democrats are siding against Jamaal — they don’t want taxes to go up for the richest Americans.

So, why did Clinton really endorse against Jamaal if the main points of her reasoning are just wrong? It’s because the political establishment wants to take a progressive, pro-Peace champion out of Congress.

AIPAC and corporate Democrats are putting over $13 million into spreading disgusting attacks against Jamaal, a Bernie-endorsed progressive advocating for a Ceasefire. This race will be seen by everyone in the media and on Capitol Hill as a referendum on Peace vs. unconditional support for Netanyahu’s war on the Palestinian people. With Jamaal’s primary just 11 days away, we need to fuel the grassroots effort to lift Jamaal to victory.
